THIS WEEK’S BRIEF

I found my video topics in my email.

This week I was trying to come up with ideas for my next batch of YouTube videos, which is pretty funny, considering I help other people figure out what videos to make.

Anyway, yes, I could ask AI for a list. And I do use it to help think things through. But sometimes I read the suggestions, and a lot of the time, it’s just not me. That’s part of using AI correctly and to your advantage: asking, “Is this me?”

So instead, I went through my emails from the past week. One note from a friend, not even a client, jumped out:

“Brian, I don’t know what video to make.”

There was more to it, but that was the gist of it. The more I thought about it, the more I realized how often people say that to me. Clients. Friends. Business owners who know they should be doing something with video but have no idea where to start.

And there it was. My next video idea. Sitting in my inbox while I was busy trying to invent one.

You probably have a few sitting in yours, too.

Questions about your service. How something works. What to expect. Whether something is worth the money. You’ve already answered them for one person. A video lets you answer them for other people who are wondering the same thing.

Try this today: Go through last week’s emails and find one question you hear regularly. Answer it in a short video, just as you would if that person were sitting across from you.

That’s your starting point.

That’s a wrap for today, have a wonderful week!

P.S. If you’re stuck on what to make, or how to actually get started, my 30-Day Visibility Sprint gives us a month to work on that together. Here’s how we can work together.
