You're Sitting on a Content Gold Mine
I work with a lot of professionals, and one of the most common things I hear is, “What else can I say? I don’t even know what to talk about.”
They're wrong. They just haven't learned to look at what they already have.
Every client call, every question you answered in an email, every conversation at a networking event - that's content. Raw, real, and already proven because someone actually asked for it. You don't need new ideas. You need a system to mine the ones you already have.
Here's how to build it:
1. Keep a "they asked me" list.
Every time a client, prospect, or colleague asks you something - write it down. One running note on your phone is all you need. At the end of the week, you'll have 3 to 5 video topics handed to you by real people with real problems. That's your content calendar, built without a single brainstorming session.
2. Turn one video into five pieces.
Record a three-minute video answering one question. That video becomes a LinkedIn post, a newsletter section, a short clip for Instagram or YouTube Shorts, and a talking point for your next sales call. One piece of thinking, five touchpoints. That's how you stay visible without living on camera.
3. Go back to your best emails.
Find the last email where a client replied "this is so helpful." That response is a video script. You already wrote it, already know it works, and already know the audience cares. Copy it, talk it out on camera, and publish it. Done.
Your move this week: Open your sent emails. Find one response you're proud of. Record a two-minute video saying exactly that - out loud, to camera. You already did the hard part.
The content is already there. You just have to package it.
